Operations & Maintenance
CEDA offers a wide range of comprehensive operation and maintenance services focused on the breadth of mechanical and industrial cleaning activities. Our experience and footprint across Canada has resulted in effective strategies to address the ever-changing needs of our clients. We are capable of working on-site as well as providing maintenance and repairs to live operating units in a safe and timely manner without unplanned disruptions.
Turnarounds & Outages
CEDA has the experience and expertise to support the supply and management of integrated turnaround and outage related services including mechanical, chemical cleaning, pressure and vacuum, fabrication, heat exchanger cleaning and repair, or any combination thereof. We support the most demanding schedules with multiple dayshift and nightshift crews in various locations.
Capital Projects
CEDA is a complete service provider for capital project activities from offsite fabrication of piping, pressure vessels, modules, and packaged equipment to site installation, commissioning and startup. What sets CEDA apart is our ability to provide multiple mechanical and industrial cleaning services, therefore, limiting the number of subcontractors.
Commissioning & Startup
CEDA’s pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup services for new build or facility expansion projects are multi-disciplinary, where we interface between construction and operations to verify work based on project specifications. We manage the relevant punch list across hydro-testing, cleaning, commissioning and remaining mechanical activities. CEDA is able to complete the static testing of equipment up to the issuance of ready for commissioning certificates.
Pressure, Vacuum & Fluid Transportation
We deliver the safest and most effective pressure, vacuum and fluid transportation services to support critical operations at our clients’ facilities. Our equipment and crews are sized to fit our clients’ needs. We are quickly scalable with the capacity to safely execute day-to-day jobs to full turnaround solutions.
CEDA works with state-of-the-art industrial cleaning equipment, which includes automated external and internal bundle blasting, semi-automated tank cleaning equipment and semi/fully automated exchanger cleaning systems.
Our large fleet of TDG and DOT compliant pressure and vacuum units have the capability to remove a range of wet or dry materials from industrial sites including sands, hydrocarbon, sludge, cement, lime, caustics and acids, and flammable liquids (solvents).

Chemical Cleaning
Chemical cleaning is the roots of CEDA; it’s where we got started as an organization and how we’ve built our footprint. With over five decades of experience, our team has the knowledge to tackle any chemical cleaning challenge.
We have developed a number of procedures for chemical cleaning projects to ensure safe and efficient cleaning, and to minimize environmental impacts. Our chemical cleaning technologies remove residual oils, corrosion, hard water deposits and other items from process equipment without creating surface damage, occasionally caused by traditional cleaning methods.
Custom planned work schedules greatly minimize interruptions to facility production, and chemical formulations are carefully selected to be compatible with waste handling facilities. We diligently plan all projects and implement on-site waste treatment to reduce the disposal volume of waste products.

CEDA operates a fleet of technologically advanced pigging and decoking mobile units. Our experienced team is focused on helping you minimize downtime, mitigate risk and avoid costly outages.
CEDA routinely delivers safe, environmentally friendly and effective pigging, decoking and descaling services to industrial facilities throughout North America. Our highly trained operators work collaboratively to solve problems.
CEDA leverages our equipment, personnel and expertise to find the safest, most productive and environmentally friendly way to clean furnaces, boilers and piping systems.
Our cleaning process requires no chemicals and by using our proprietary filtration units, we are able to minimize the impact on the environment by recycling the water required for pigging. Water is reused during the process and recycled for future plant services.

Off-Site Services
CEDA owns and operates exchanger facilities to support the cleaning, repair and inspection of bundles during regular maintenance activities and turnarounds. We are able to manage multiple bundles concurrently, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition, we have the capacity to store and preserve exchangers for any duration, including wrapping to protect exchangers from the elements.
