CEDA Raises $45,188 for the United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo

We are proud to announce that our 2019 Fort McMurray employee campaign raised $45,188 for the United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo.

Since 2016, the Fort McMurray team has been raising funds for the United Way through employee donations, various fundraising events (bake sales, raffles, online auction, etc.) along with support from CEDACares. 

“This is truly an outstanding result in a time when the demand for services funded by the United Way is at an all-time high,” said Andy Carter, CEDA’s Vice President, Fort McMurray Region. “Thank you to everyone who supported this great cause.”    

To date, CEDA has raised over $120,000 to help the United Way provide lasting social change in three focus areas: overcoming poverty, helping kids succeed and building strong communities.
