Acquisition of L. Robert Enterprises Ltd.
CALGARY, AB – CEDA International Corporation (“CEDA International”) is pleased to announce that effective Sunday, April 30, 2006, CEDA acquired all of the assets of L. Robert Enterprises Ltd. (http://www.lre.ca) and L. Robert Equipment Ltd. (collectively the “L Robert business”).
The L Robert business provides heavy equipment and truck repairs, welding services, equipment rentals and parts sales to a wide range of industries including oil and gas, forestry, construction and mining. The Company is headquartered in Fort McMurray and has over 400 employees. It also has an exemplary reputation for quality work and an industry leading track record for employee safety and customer satisfaction.
The acquisition is in part a continued response to growing customer preference to contract with larger industrial maintenance companies with a strong financial profile and a more comprehensive scale of operations to handle large projects. Customers have historically rewarded both CEDA International and L Robert for consistently delivering quality, safe and fairly priced products and services.
