Acquisition of CASCA Electric Ltd.
CALGARY, AB – CEDA acquired CASCA Electric Ltd. (“CASCA”) and CASCA Tech Inc., providing enhanced services and technology offerings.
CASCA is a leader in providing electrical maintenance and construction services to the petrochemical industry in Alberta. Established in 1977, it has built a reputation as one of the premier service companies in Alberta through a commitment to excellence in both safety and performance. CASCA is currently a qualified contractor at both the Syncrude and Suncor project sites and has also completed work at many of the other oil sands projects.
Its core expertise in electrical and instrumentation construction and maintenance services, winterization program coordination, power system installation and construction, and comprehensive plant maintenance services has made it a preferred contractor for several large oil sands projects. The Company serves the northern Alberta marketplace out of its offices in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, with site offices directly on the Syncrude Canada Ltd. and Suncor Energy Inc. refinery locations.
